Biography

Johan van Geluwe was born in Waregem, Belgium in 1929. The architect graduated at Sant-Lucas-College in Gent, where he lead the course for interior design from 1974 to 1994. Today he lives in Waregem again, where he is in charge of the fictitious-real institutions A.R.T. (Art Recycling Terminal) and MAO (Multinational Art Office). Besides this he is the director, curator and archivist of M.O.M. (Museum of Museums). Since the 1970′s he has been collecting interior and exterior views of museums all around the world that Mail Art partners had sent him.
