Biography

Carlo Pittore was born May 14, 1943. He is also known under the pseudonym “Charles Stanley”. He was a painter, Mail Artist, and director of La Galleria dell’Occhio, a street level window gallery open 24/7, during the 1980s. He had been working as a critical thinker on Mail Art as well. Pittore died July 17, 2005.
