Biography

Lene Aagaard Denhart (born in Qaqortoq, 1967) is an artist and art historian situated in Copenhagen, Denmark, working within the fields of contemporary art and art practice, most recently as a co-editor of the larger publication Lomholt Mail Art Archive, Fotowerke, and Video Works (2010), and as co-curator of the net exhibition and digital platform Lomholt Mail Art Archive (2014-2015) and as co-curator of the exhibition Keep Art Flat! on Mail Art and the political 1970s.
She has engaged in academic and artistic debates and research on both historical and contemporary art.

Her artistic mediums include painting and photography.

Denhart holds an M.Phil. degree in art history from University of Copenhagen (2006) and an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art (2003).
