Compositions and musical performances are an essential part of his work. His stage name alludes to Albrecht Dürer, whose very well-known initial he scratched into a ruler already in the 2nd grade. For his 33rd birthday (1977) the Stuttgart State Gallery showed 111 of hist postcards. In 1978 he commissioned a composition Radio Bremen. Albrecht/d. loved unique numbers and had been living in Stuttgart until his death on February, 12, 2013.
